Fledglings and Chicks

The first clutches of swallow chicks are now out of their nests. We have to be careful going into the sheds as they get panicked so easily and hurt themselves on the windows. Here are some who have the perfect perch at the back of the garage.

The pent house is great for the new chicks, but it took a few nights for the chicks to work out how to get up the ramp of the pen, meaning Keith had to crawl in and catch them all to post them inside to safety. The vixen is out and about even in the daytime looking for fresh poultry for her cubs.
