Sheep update

Most of the lambs went off in June and July but we've kept 2 ewe lambs. These had fly strike last week when it was hot and humid so we're keeping an eye on them now. 

If you look carefully at the ewe at the back (second left) she's got a bald patch on her back where we had to clip her out.

Our old ram had to sadly go - he was a nice boy - as most of the ewes are his daughters. We're hoping to have found a new ram - a shetland. We've chosen a different breed to bring the size down and try to get some different coloured fleeces for spinning.
