More on the weather

The promised rain earlier in the week got those with corn out busy harvesting and carrying straw, some late into the night. The rain came and went very quickly the next morning, which was a bit of a disappointment, but tonight it's giving us a good downpour so it will perhaps keep the grass growing and might even put a bit of water into the pond - with any luck.
