The gosling, now named ALAN, is no longer on the menu for Christmas dinner. He will be staying as long as he behaves himself. He has grown hugely and follows Andrea around, cheeping loudly, when he is out of his pen. He really enjoys his grass and baths in the old trough. He is a real giant next to his friends the chicks who are the same age as him.
The piglets are also growing apace and have had a pen reinforcement and extension following their escapes into the garden.
