This week our youngest beagle Linnet has had a litter of 5 puppies, 2 boys and 3 girls and on my brother's farm next door they've branched out and are trying out pig keeping. They have 2 weaners - litter sisters, though it's hard to believe it as they look so different. They're the result of some crossing with a Large Black, Tamworth and Gloucester Old Spot.
We're in the process of trying to bring down a Kerry Cow from north of Ullapool so that we can increase our rather depleted herd. Hope to have news of progress soon.
